Chapter 1. 1-1 Chapter 1. Getting started This User ’ s Guide contains detailed information on the your Flat Panel Monitor . For a quick overview , please see the Setup Poster that was shipped with your monitor .
Chapter 1. 1-2 Product overview This section will provide inform ation on adjusting moni tor positions , setting user controls , and using the cable lock slot. Chapter 1. 1-3 Cable lock slot Y our monitor is equipped with a cable lock slot lo cated on the rear of your monit or (in the lower position). Setting up your monitor This section provides information on ho w to set up your monitor .
Chapter 1. 1-4 3. Connect the analog signal cable to the video port on the back of the computer . Note: One end of the signal cable is alre ady pre-attached to your mo nitor . 4. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the monitor HDMI connector and the other end to the computer if it has on e HDMI ou tput connecto r .

T o optimize your monitor image , press the Automatic Image Setup key . Automatic image setup requires that the monitor is warmed u p for at least 1 5 mintues.

Chapter 2. 2-7 Selecting a suppor ted display mode The display mode the monitor uses is controlled by the computer. Therefore, refer to your computer documentation for details on how to change display modes. The image size, position and shape might change when the display mode changes.
