INSTALL THE VENT SYSTEM General Information These instructions should be used as a guide- line and do not supersede local codes in any way. Install vent according to local codes, these instructions, the current National Fuel Gas Code (ANSI-Z223.

This table shows a 1 (V) to 5 (H) ratio. For every 1 foot of (V) vertical, you are allowed 5 feet of (H) horizontal run, up to a maximum horizontal run of 20 feet.
