General Information The fireplace models covered in this manual are direct-vent sealed combustion gas fireplace heaters designed for residential application. These direct-vent appliances operate with the combustion chamber completely isolated from the indoor environment.

26 MAINTENANCE T ASK ACCOMPLISHING PERSON PROCEDURE Inspecting/Cleaning Burner , Logs and Controls Qualified Service T echnician Inspect valve and ensure it is properly operating. Check piping for leaks. V acuum the control compartment, fireplace logs and burner area.
27 SYMPTOM POSSIBLE CAUSES CORRECTIVE ACTION 1. Spark igniter will not light pilot after repeated triggering of igniter button. WARNING: if the pilot will not light after 1 minute of attempting, wait for at least 5 minutes for gas to clear before attempting again.
28 TROUBLESHOOTING THE ELECTRONIC IGNITION SYSTEM SYMPTOM POSSIBLE CAUSES CORRECTIVE ACTION Check voltage on AC terminals of module an/or batteries. The value should be around 2.7 to 3.2 V AC. Confirm that wire connections are secure. Check for visible cracked casing, cuts, etc.
