5 - LT Series Operations Manual 2 4-HOUR FORMAT The digital displa y models (LTTC and LTTNC) can displa y 12-hour (standard), or 24-hour, also known as the Continental (0-23 hour), format, when specified at time of order. The time wheels can print 24-hour format for an added charge.
6 - LT Series Operations Manual SETTING THE TYPE WHEE LS As noted in the earlier s ec tions LT SER I ES MODELS and OPT IONAL FEATURES, the LT Series Models are available wit h a variet y of date, time, and number wheels. You m ay set the applicable t y pe wheels according t o the following directions.
7 - LT Series Operations Manual SETTING THE DIGITAL DISPLAY Models with a "C" affix ed to their designation (LTTC and L TTNC) denot e units featuring a digital displ ay. This displa y is factor y -set for use in the 12-hour AM/PM format or the 24-hour (Conti nental) format.
8 - LT Series Operations Manual ADJUSTING PRINT IMPACT Print impact may b e set to an y desired level, from ver y ha rd to v ery light. The impact adjuster is located on the bottom of the unit. Using a sm all flat head screwdriver, turn th e adjuster to the right to increase or left to decrease the impact.
9 - LT Series Operations Manual CONSECUTIVE/DUPLICATE COUNT (Numbering Units) Units equipped with the numbering feature may be configured for C onsecutive Count , advancin g the number type wheel after each re gistration, Duplicate Count , advancing th e number t y pe wheel after every two re g i strations.
10 - LT Series Operations Manual ADJUSTING THE REGISTRATION POSITION Depending on the t y pe of document being stamped, it ma y be necessar y to change the registration posi tion. This can be accomplished by moving the trigger assembly. The t rigger assembly has a range of mot ion of about two (2) inches forward or backward.
11 - LT Series Operations Manual CHANGING THE RIBBON LT Series ti me stamps use a silk ribbon for long-lasting, high-quality imprints. To avoid damaging the unit, use only a #20-S ribbon. To change the ribbon: 1. Di sconnect the power source. 2. R emove the top cover.
12 - LT Series Operations Manual CHANGING THE FUSE Each model of th e L T Series comes equipped with a fuse. The fuse protects the unit from damage in cas e of a power surge o r el ec trical ov erload. If too much power re ac hes the fuse, t he fuse burns out, or is "blown," stopping operati on of the unit and avoiding costly damage.
