XPort AR User Guide 9 1: Using This Guide Purpose and Audience This guide provides the inf ormatio n needed to configure, use, and update the XP ort AR™. It is intended for software developers a nd system integrators who a re embedding the XPort AR in their designs.

XPort AR User Guide 17 4: Configuration Usi ng Web Manager This chapter describe s how to config ure the XPort AR using Web Manager, Lantronix’s browser-based conf iguration tool. The unit’s configuration is stored in nonvolatile memory and is retained without power.
4: Configuration Using Web Manager XPort AR User Guide 18 Network Settings Click the Network link on the left navigation bar to display the Network menu. The sub-menus displaye d allow for the config uration of the general network setting s, protocol stack, DNS, SNMP, FTP, TFTP, IP address filter, and the query port.

It is a protocol for m anaging the security of data transmission over the Internet. It provides encr yption, authentication, and message integ rity services.

Large bit keys require more time to generate. Note: Certain SSH clients require RSA host keys to be at least 1024 bits.
