1 Quick Setup Guide NS-DSC1112/NS-DSC1112P/NS-DSC1112- CN Congratulations on your pur chase of a high-quality I nsignia product. Y our Insignia digital camera is designed for r eliable and trouble- free performance. Use this guide f or initial setup of your camera.

3 Installing batteries 1 Make sure that your camera is turned o . 2 Slide the cover in the dir ection of the arrow , then lift the cover away from the battery compartment 3 Inser t two AA batteries (included) into the battery compartment.
4 P ower-sa ving function T o save battery power , turn the power saving function ON so that your camera automatically turns o two minutes after the last control has been accessed.
5 Initial settings When you turn on your camera for the rst time, you need to choose a menu language and set the date and time. 1 T urn on your camera. The S elect Language screen opens. 2 P ress or to select a language, then press OK/DISP . The Select Time and Date screen opens.
6 Recording video 1 Slide the MODE switch to switch to Video mode. 2 Focus y our camera on the subject that you want to recor d. 3 Press the shutt er button to start recording . 4 Press the Z oom button T t o zoom in or the zoom W button to zoom out. 5 P ress to pause/c ontinue to record the video.
7 Using menus Use the 4-way navigation contr ol and OK/DISP to make menu selections. T o use the menus 1 Slide the MODE switch to switch to Photo or Rec ord mode. 2 P ress MENU .
