Setup Steps I) Install an internal hard disk drive. 1. Make certain the power and USB 2.0 cables are disconnected from the LaCie box. 2. T urn the box over so that the rubber feet are pointing up . P le ase n ote t he tw o p las ti c b an ds fo r p ry ing t he bottom plate from the top shell.
7. Replace the casing by aligning the rear ports wi th th eir r esp ec tiv e slo ts, a nd th en ge ntl y pre ss do wn on th e fro nt un ti l y ou he ar an au di ble “click ”, indicating closure. NOTE: LaCie does not recommend removing the two bands on the face of the drive.
