5 QUICK SETUP Hint: Use good quality Alkaline Batteries ; avoid rechargeable batteries. 1. Have the Wireless Temperatur e Sta tion and temperatur e sensor 3 to 5 feet apart. 2. Batteries shoul d be out of both units for 5 mi nutes. 3. Place the bat teries into the T emperature sensor first and next into the Wireless Temperature Stati o n.
6 NOTE: Fog and mist will not harm y our temperatur e sensor, but direct r ain must be avoided. DETAILED SETUP GUIDE BATTE RY INS TALLATIO N - When one Temperature sensor is being used 1. First, insert th e batteries to the Temperature sensor ( see “ Temperature sensor ” below).
7 TEMPERATUR E SENSOR 1. Remove the B attery Cov er. 2. Observing the correct polarity , install 2 “AA” Alkaline Batter ies—make sure they do not spring free, or start-up problems may occur. 3. Replace the Bat tery Cov er. WIRELESS TEMPERA TURE STATION Note: After the batteri es are installed, DO N OT press any buttons.
8 1. Remove the B attery Cov er on the back of the Wireless Temperature St ation. 2. Observing the correct polarity , install 2 “AA” Al kaline Batteries.
9 • *When the signal is successfully received by the Tem perature Statio n, the icon will be switched on. (If not s uccessful, the icon will not b e shown in LCD) So the user can e asily see whether the l ast reception was success ful (icon on) or not (icon o ff).
10 TIME SETTING 1. After exiti ng the 12/24 Hour Setting , the hour wi ll begin flashing i n the time display. 2. Press and rele ase the min/max /+ button to s elect the desired h our. Note: "PM" will appear to the left of the ti me display for PM hours.
11 3. Press and rele ase the min/max /+ button onc e more to retur n to the curr ent temperatures. RESETTING THE MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM READINGS: User may reset the minimu m and maxi mum temperat ure dat.
12 LCD will l ight up briefly . Following the indoor temper ature and the time as 12:00 will be displayed. If the y are not shown in LCD after 60 seconds, remove the batt eries and wait for at least 60 secon ds before reinser ting them.

14 MOUNTING Note: To achieve a tr ue temperature re ading, avoi d mounting in di rect sunlight. We recommend that y ou mount the temper ature sensor o n an outside Nor th-facing wall (under the ev e of a house is i deal). The re mote temperat ure sensor should be placed in a dry , shaded area.

WIRELESS TEMPERA TURE STATION 1. The Wireless Temperature St ation comes w ith the table stand attached to t he back of the Receiv er.
17 2. To wall moun t, push the table st and flat again st the Wireless Te mperature Station (if it isn’ t already flat) . Fix a screw (not i ncluded) into the d esired wall , and place the Wireless Temperature S tation onto the scr ew using the hanging hole on the backside.
