QUICK SET-UP GUIDE Hint: Use good quality Alkaline Batteries and avoid rechargeable batteries. 1. Have the intelligent w eather station and remo te temperature/humidity sensor 3 to 5 fee t apart. 2. Batteries should be out of both the intelligent weather station and remote temperature/humidi ty sensor units for 10 minutes.
87 feet. Factoring i n the 10 foot room , this leaves a max imum of 77 feet of remaining signal range. This allowance is typically enough for a frame wall w ith non- metallic siding; how ever certain materi als can reduce range even further.
The intelligent weather sta tion uses 3 x AA (alkaline recomm ended) batteries. When the batteries need to be replaced the low battery symbol w ill appear on the LCD (or replace the batteries annually). To install and replace the batterie s, please follow the steps below: 1.
ABOUT WWVB (Radio Controll ed Time) The NIST (National Institu te of Standards and Technology—Time and Frequency Division) WWVB radio station is lo cated in Ft. Collins, Colorado, and transmits the ex act ti me and date signal continuously throughout the United State s at 60 kHz.
SET key • Press and hold the key to enter manua l setting modes: LC D contrast, 12/24 hour time display, time zone, day light saving time ON/OFF, manual time setting, calendar, WWVB ON/OFF, ºF/º.
