4 1) Remove the battery cover, loca ted on the bac kside of the unit and di rectly below the fun ction buttons. 2) Observe the correct polarity, and in stall 2 AA batteries. 3) Replace the battery cover. Note: After the batteries have been insta lled a tone will so und, and all the LCD’s (Liquid Crystal Display) will briefl y light up.
5 I) FUNCTION BUTTONS There are 4 f unction but tons lo cated on the backside of th e Moon Phase Cloc k. The function buttons are labeled: SET, +, ALARM, and SNOOZE. II) TIME ZONE SETTING 1) Hold do wn the “ SE T” button for 2 second s, the default setting “-5EST” will flas h in t he Da te LCD .
6 IV) LANGUAGE SELECTION FOR THE WEEKDAY 1) Hold do wn the “ SE T” button for 2 seconds (the selected time zone will flash), press the “ SET” button 2 more times, until the default lan gu age “US” flashes in the time LCD. 2) Press the “+” button to toggle through an d to select the desired language.
7 6) The default date “1” will flash. Press the “+” button to select the appropriate date. 7) Press the “ SET ” button to confirm the date, and to set the weekd ay. 8) The default weekday “MON” (depend s on selected language) will flash.
