4 QUICK SET-UP GUIDE 1) Insert two AA batteries into the Projection alarm and/o r plug into wall 2) Wait 10 mi nutes for WWVB reception. 3) If there is no WWVB reception, m anually set the time and date (instructions in the Program Mode). 4) Program the settings.
5 AC adapter receptacle DETAILED SET-UP GUIDE BATTERY INSTALLATION 1. Rem ove the bat tery cove r. 2. Observe the correct polarity an d install 2 AA batteries. 3. In addition or instead of inserting batteries, the AC adapter can be used. Simply plug the ad apter into the receptacle on the bottom of the alarm clock and the n plug in adap ter.
6 PRO J EC TIO N PROGRAM MODE To enter the Program Mod e, hold down the “MODE+” button for 2 seconds, until th e time zone (“-5” defau lt) flash es in the lower right.
7 3. From –5h to –8h, a US map with the highlighted time zone will also be displayed to the right of the time display. 4. Press the “ AL” button to move to the hou r setting or press the “SNOOZE” button to co nfirm the time zone and return to th e display mod e.
8 E. DATE SETTING Note: When the WWVB signal is found, that date will over-ride the man ually set date. 1. Hold do wn the “MODE/+” button for 2 seco nds (the selected time zone will flash), press the “AL” button three times until the year flashes.
9 B. RADIO-CONTROLLED TIME AND DATE 1. The projection alarm will automatically search for the time signal upon initial set-up and ev ery nigh t. 2. When the signal is being received , th ere will be a “tower” icon flashing to the right of the time display.

11 Alarm is Active 2. ACTIVATIN G/DEACTIVATING THE ALARM a. After entering the alarm-settin g mode, the alarm is activated. b. To toggle between activating and deactivating the alarm , press the “AL ” button briefly. “((( • )))” will be disp layed to the left of the time display when the alarm is activated.
