When operatin g with the a/c pow er cord the bac klight can be on con tinuall y. When operatin g on a/c pow er, batteries a re optio nal and not required in the Weather Station.
La Crosse T echnology , Ltd. Page 4 Power requiremen ts 2- AA batteries pow er the outdoor trans mitter. We recommend alkaline batte ries for the transmitter. You may choose to use li thium batteries for temp eratures below - 20°F/ -28.8°C.

La Crosse T echnology , Ltd. Page 7 Multiple Outdoor Transmitters To connect multi ple remote transmitters to the Weather Station: Remove the batte ry cover from all the trans mitters (leav e off for setup ). Set the first outdoor transmitter to channel 1 and insert 2-AA ba tteries.

Adjus t the time z one i n the Program M enu . Check that the DS T indicator is correct for your lo cation (most a reas observ e DST so this should be ON).

The backligh t will return afte r the 2-10 minu te search (w hich occurs du ring the late night or early morning hours).
