7 • Close a nd lock the upper lid (C) . • Plac e a container on the drip tray . • T urn the Brew Selection Control (P) to the setting for two 9-oz cups. • Pre ss the on/of f button (M) . The in dica tor light blinks slowly a nd then glows consistently when the cof fee m achine is rea dy .
8 Note : An indicator i s located on the upper part of the filter support to re mind you when to change the “Duo Filter” (K) : • indica te the number corresponding to the month when the “Duo F.
9 Choose the type of pod holder to insert: • Inse rt pod hold e rs. - Use smaller pod holders for re gular coffe e. - Use the larger for c appuccino or latte. • Position the pod(s) with the flat surface facing upwards. If you ar e pr eparing one cup, use the left pod holder marked «ONE CU P THIS SIDE» • Close a nd lock the upper lid (C) .
10 • Pre ss the br ew button (O) to start the pre paration. The indicator light will blink during the brewing pr ocess. When the cycle is completed, the indicator light will be steady again a nd the machine will be re ady for the next c ycle . At the end of the br ew cycle ther e is a steam pu rge.
11 Desca ling • T urn the appliance of f before descaling. • Re move the water filter holder a nd discard the filter . • W e re commend that you use KRUP S descaling solution (r ef: F 054). • Pour the mixture int o the tank (F) and plac e the smaller pod holders in the coffe e machine.
