4 FC - 42 - Over view 3 Overvie w The Kramer FC - 42 i s a high perfor mance conv erter for high definition (HD) component vide o ( Y, P B , P R ) . It conver ts the componen t video input (Y, P B , P R ) to HD-SDI on two BNC output connectors. The signal is also converted to an RGB/H V signal on a 15 -pin H D computer gra phics video conn ector.

8 FC - 42 - Con n ecting the FC - 42 5 Connecti ng the FC - 42 Always switch off the pow er to each device before connecting it to your FC - 42 . After connec ting your FC - 42 , connect its pow er and then switch on the powe r to each device . To connect the FC - 42 , as illustra ted in the example in Figure 3 , do the follow ing: 1.
