CALLING or or or or Calling using the remote control Point the remote contr ol at the key set of the KonfT el 100 R. Press On/Of f on the remote contr ol and wait for a tone. Then dial in the number . Pressing On/Of f terminates the loudspeaking call.

The remote contr ol has a range of up to 5 metres, pr ovided the area is fr ee of obstructions.
POSITIONING The KonfT el 100 R confer ence unit is designed to function in rooms of up to approximately 25 m 2 with nor mal acoustics. (KonfT el can offer other systems for lar ger pr emises). The unit’ s omni-dir ectional micr ophone has a fantastic ability to pick up sound.
Automatic adjustment When you switch on the KonfT el 100 R, it automati- cally adjusts to your room and your telephone line. KonfT el 100 R senses the acoustics in your room and adjusts itself continuously for the duration of the call. Manual adjustment KonfT el 100 R can be adjusted manually to eliminate any echoes during the call.
Key functions 1 On/Off key Switches KonfT el 100 R on and of f. 2 Mute key Switches the micr ophone on/of f. 3 + and – keys Pressing r epeatedly will increase or r educe the loudspeaker volume. After the call, KonfT el 100 R remembers the set volume until it is changed once more.

T rouble shooting 1 Check that the micr ophone is connected. The r ed LEDs must be lit. 2 Adjust KonfT el 100 R manually . 3 Check that KonfT el 100 R is connected to an analogue telephone jack. 4 Check that all cables ar e cor r ectly connected. 5 Bypass any extension cables and check that the system is functioning corr ectly .
