12 CONNECTING EQUIPMENT Coaxial (RF) Using Y our Antenna or Digital Cable for DTV . 1. T urn off the HDTV . 2. Connect the coaxial (RF) connector fr om y our antenna or digital cable (out-of- the-wall, not from the Cable Bo x) to the ANTENNA/C ABLE DIGIT AL/ANALOG connector .
13 Connecting y our HDTV Set-T op Bo x (Best) 1. T urn off the HDTV and HDTV Set-T op Box. 2. Connect a HDMI cable to the HDMI output of y our HDTV Set-T op Box and the other end to the HDMI Input at the r ear of the HDTV . 3. T urn on the HDTV and HDTV Set-T op Box.
14 Using Component Video Connecting y our HDTV Set-T op Bo x (Better): 1. T urn off the HDTV and HDTV Set-T op Box. 2. Connect the Pr (r ed color) connector on y our HDTV Set-T op Box to the corr esponding Pr (r ed color) connector in the Component gr oup .
15 Using Coax (RF) 1. T urn off the HDTV and Set-T op Box. 2. Using a Coax (RF) cable, connect one end to the TV OUT (RF) on your Set T op Box and the other end to the TV input at the r ear of the HDTV .
16 Using Component Video Connecting y our D VD Pla y er (Better) 1. T urn off the HDTV and D VD pla y er . 2. Connect the Pr (r ed color) connector on y our D VD pla y er to the corr esponding Pr (r ed color) connector in the Component at the r ear of the HDTV .
17 Using Composite (A V) Video Connecting y our D VD Pla y er (Good) 1. T urn off the HDTV and D VD pla y er . 2. Connect the Video (y ellow color) connector on y our D VD pla y er to the Video (y ellow color) connector in the A V gr oup .
18 Connecting to a PC 1. T urn off the HDTV and PC . 2. Connect a 15-pin D-Sub RGB (V GA) cable to the RGB output of y our PC and the other end to the V GA input at the r ear of the HDTV . 3. Connect the Audio Out on y our computer to the AUDIO input at the r ear of the HDTV .
19 T O USE THE MENUS 1. Pr ess the MENU/EXIT button to displa y or close the main menu 2. Use the Na vigation Ring to mo ve ar ound to select, adjust or confirm an item in the OSD (On Scr een Displa y) menu. Pr ess the MENU/EXIT button to enter the main OSD .
20 A UDIO MENU The Audio menu in TV mode shows as below . It pr ovides audio adjustment for user to modify the audio setting. Audio language setting is only a vailable with A TSC TV sour ce , the option is disable under other sour ce modes.
