11 Duct Cover Installat ion 5. Use 8” a luminum or steel pipe ( f ollow b uilding codes i n y ou r area) to connect the ducting transition o n t he hood to the ductwork above . Use duct t ape to seal and secure joints as show n in Figu r e 15 . Sl i de t he du ct cover onto t he hoo d.
