11 Duct Cover Installat ion 5. Use 8” a luminum or steel pipe (follow building codes i n y ou r area) to co nnect the ducting transition o n the hood to the ductwork abo ve . Use duct t ape to seal and secure joints as show n in Figu r e 15 . Sl i de t he du ct cover onto t he hoo d.
