4 Location Requirements ■ T o ensure proper ventilatio n for your ice maker , the front side must be complet ely unobst ructe d. The unit may be clos ed-in on th e to p an d thr ee sides, bu t the inst allati on s hou ld al low the ice maker to be pu lled forward for servicin g if necessary .
5 If the water pressu re to the reverse osmosis system is less than 40 to 60 psi ( 276 to 414 kPa) : ■ Check to see w hether the se diment filter in the reverse osmosis syste m is blocked. Rep lace the fi lter if nec essary . ■ Allow th e storage tan k on the reve rse osmosis s ystem to refill after heavy usage.
6 7. Bend the co pper tubing to meet the wat er line inlet w hich is located on the back of the ice make r cabine t as shown. Leave a coil of copper tubi ng to al low the ice maker t o be pulled out of the cabin et or away from the wall for serv ice. REAR VIEW 8.
7 2. Styl e 1 - F or grav ity dra in sy stem, push th e ice make r into position so tha t the ice maker drain tube is positioned ov er the PVC dr ain reducer . See “ Gra vity Drai n Sy stem ” earlier in this s ection. Style 2 - For drain pump s ystem connect th e drain pump outle t hose to the drai n.
8 Rever se Door Catch 1. Remove the hole plugs from t he opposite side of the door and set as ide. 2. Remove the sc rews from the magnetic door catch and replace it on the opp osite side of the door . 3. Push the h ole plu gs into pl ace on the opposite si de of the door .
9 Using the Controls 1. T o start the no rmal ice making cycl e, select ON. 2. T o stop ice maker operation , select OFF . NOTE : ■ Pre ssing the ON/OFF switch does not shut off p ower to the ice maker . ■ Allow 24 hou rs to produce the first batch of ice.
10 Condenser A dirty or clogged condenser: ■ Obstructs proper airflo w . ■ Reduces ice maki ng capacit y . ■ Causes higher th an recommended operatin g temperatures which may lead t o component fai lure. 1. Unplug ice maker or disconn ect power .
11 9. Remove, clean an d replace the i ce scoop and ic e scoop holde r . ■ After re moving the ic e scoop, remov e the holder by r emovin g the two thu mb sc rews . ■ W ash the ice scoop holder along with the other interior components us ing the foll owing inst ructions .

13 Grid is not cutting ice sheets ■ Is the cutter grid securely in place? Check the cutter gri d harn ess plug t o make sure the connecti on is intact. See “ Interior Components ” section of “ Cleanin g ” for instructions on cutter grid removal.
