9 Sealed S urfac e Bur ners IMPORT ANT : Do not obstruct the flow of comb ustion and ventilat ion air a round the bur ner grate edges. Burner cap: Alway s keep the bur ner cap in pl ace when u sing a surface bur ner . A clean bur ner cap will help avoid poor i gnition and uneven flames.
10 Locator Pin On all models except for model KGCV 566, the locator pin on the grate must be positi oned in the bu rner cap hole to hold the grate in pl ace. Ceramic Glass Surface Wiping off the c ooktop before an d after each use will help keep it free from stains.
