5 Mobile Home - Addition al Installation Requirements The installat ion of this range mu st conform to th e Manufactured Home Cons truction and Safet y Standar d, Title 24 CFR , Part 3280 (formerly th e Federal Standar d for Mobile Home Construction and Safet y , Title 24, HUD Part 280).
6 Electrical Requ irements If code s permi t and a s e parate gr ound wir e is us ed, it is recommended that a qual ified el ectrical installer d etermin e that the ground path an d wire gauge are in accordance wit h local codes and t hat the ground path is adequ ate.
7 Gas Supply Line ■ Provid e a gas supply line of ¾" (1.9 cm) rigid p ipe to the range locati on. A smalle r size pipe on longer runs may result in insu fficient gas supply . Pipe-join t compounds tha t resis t the action of LP gas must be used.
8 INSTALLA TION INSTRUCTIO NS Unpack Range 1. Remove ship ping materi als, ta pe and protectiv e film from range. Keep shi pping pall et under range. Remove oven racks, grates and parts package from inside oven. 2. Remove the 2 screws on each si de of th e top o f the bot tom vent.
9 4. Using the final measurement from Step 3, measu re from the floor up a nd mark a horizont a l line on t h e wall wh ere a wall stud is loca ted. 5. Position t op of anti-t ip bracket at line marke d in Step 4 and mark hole s. Drill two ¹⁄₈ " holes at the positio ns marke d on the wall.
10 3-Wire Cable from Home Power Supply IMPORT ANT : Use the 3- wir e cable from home power supply where local codes permi t a 3-wire connection . 1. Connect the 2 black wires (C) togeth er using a UL lis ted wire connector .
11 Make Gas Con nection 1. Assemble flexible connec tor from gas supply pipe to pressure regulator located in the middle front of th e range. 2. Apply p ipe-joint co mpound made for use with LP gas to the smaller thread ends of the fl exible con nector adapt ers (s ee B and G in follo wing ill ustra tion) .
12 4. Place bur ner assemb ly over spill guard, making sure burner ’ s rear flange is seated in s lot. 5. Check the surfac e bur ner and gril l flames. Refer t o the “Electronic Ignition System” section. 6. Insta ll the wave tray into t he grill.
13 Electronic Ignition Syste m Initial lighting and gas f lame adjustments Surface b ur ners use electronic igniters i n place of st anding pilots . When the cooktop control knob is tur ned to the “LITE ” position , the syst em creates a spark to lig ht the bur ner .
14 Check O peration o f Oven Broil Element 1. Close the oven door . 2. T ur n oven selector to BROI L. HI will ap pear in the temperatu re display . 3. Press ENTER. Look through oven window . The top element should glow r ed, and heat should be radiating out of the door .
