Bef or e y ou start... Proper installation is your responsibility: • Have a qualified tec hnician install this range hood. • Comply with installation clearances specified on the model/serial rating plate. The model/ser ial rating plat e is located inside the range hood on the rear wall.

5. The hood attac hes to the w all with the mounting screws located as shown. For the 30" (7 6.2 cm) and 36" (91 .4 cm) models, there are two mounting screws. For the 42" (1 06.7 cm) and 48" (121 .9 cm) models, there are four mounting screws.
7 9. If roof or wall cap does not have a damper , at tac h damper to exhaust opening(s) on top of the hood using two Phillips-head screws. 10 . If 48" (121 .9 cm) hood is to be connected to 1 0" (25.4 cm) round vent system, install the vent transition piece now.

Opening the canopy hood contr ol panel: The hood controls are located on the right-hand underside of the canopy . Operating the light: ON: Move the light switc h to the “1” position.
