8 Loading the T op Rack The top rack is desi gned for cu ps, glasses , and smalle r items. (Se e recomme nded loa ding patterns shown.) 9 Fle xible tines, top rac k The r ow of tines on the l eft side of the top rack can be adjusted to make r oom for a varie ty of dishes. The tine adjust er has a tea l colored tip. Gently push t he tine down, toward the cent er of the rack , to make room f or lar ger dish es.
10 Silverwa re basket The spl it silverwar e basket can b e se parated and placed into the bo ttom rack in several locations. Hold the basket firml y and s lide apa rt.

13 Dishwasher Ef ficiency T ips Hot wa ter di ssolve s and activ ates t he dish washi ng deter gent. Hot wate r also diss olves gr ease on d ishes and helps g lass es dry spot- free. For best di shw ashing results, water must be at l east 120°F (49°C) as it ent ers the dishwash er .
