6 MICROWAVE OVEN CONTROL Dis pla y When power is firs t supplie d to the microwave oven, a “:” will blink in the display . T ouch OFF (CANCEL OFF) to stop the blink ing. If the “: ” bli nks in th e disp lay at any oth er time , a power failure has occurred.

8 Starting T emperature Room temperature foods will heat faster than refrigerated food s, and refrigerate d foods will heat fast er than frozen foods. Composition and Density Foods high in fat and sugar will reach a higher temperatur e, and will heat fas ter than other foods.
9 Microwave Cooking Power Many recipes for micr owave cooking specify which cooki ng power to us e by pe r cent, n ame or num ber . For exa mple , 70%=7=Medium -High. Use the follow ing chart as a gen eral guide for the suggest ed cooking power of specific foods.
10 One T ouch Cooking (Sensor) Use the following chart as a guide for the ONE TOUCH pads. * Do not use regular paper bags or gl assware. Listen for popping to slow to 1 pop every 1 or 2 seconds, th en stop the cy cle. Do not try to pop unpopp ed ker nels.

12 Keep W arm Hot cooked food can be ke pt warm in the microwave oven. The Keep W arm function uses 10% cook power . Keep W arm can be used by i tself, or it can be programmed to foll ow a cooking cy cle. Opening the door during Keep Warm will cancel the function.
