8 COOKTOP USE Cooktop Controls IMPORT AN T : Y our cook top is fact ory-s et for u se with Natura l gas. If you wish t o use LP gas, an LP Gas Con version Kit is included with your new cooktop. 9 Sealed Sur face Bur ners IMPORT AN T : Do not obstruct the flow of comb ustion and ventilat ion air around the bu rner grat e edges. Burner cap: Always keep the bur ner cap in place when u sing a surface bu rner . A clean burne r cap will help avoid poor i gnition and uneven flames.
10 Grill (on some models) The grill mod ule consist s of a cas t-iron grat e, a wave tray , a wave pla te, a burn er asse mbly , a fr ont spil l gu ar d and a drip t ray . It is used to grill foods. Refer to the “ Grill C hart ” for cook times and settin gs.
11 6. Place the wa ve plate on th e wave tray . The wave plate must be centered on the w ave tray . 7. Replace grill grate. To U s e : 1. T ur n on overhead range hood. 2. If desired, apply a light coating of vegetable oil or nonstick cooking spray to grill grate.

Remove and clea n the drip tray an d the area below . Use care when tip ping th e drip tray so th at the c onten ts are not s pilled when r emoving.
