2 INST ALLA TION REQUIREMENTS T ools and P ar ts Gather the r equired tools and pa rt s before starting installation. Read and follow the instructions pr ovided with any tools listed here. T ools needed Parts supplied Check that all parts ar e included.

4 Electr ical Requirements - U . S.A. Only If codes permit and a separate ground wir e is used, it is recommend ed that a qualified electr ical installer determine that the ground path and wire gauge ar e in accordance with loca l codes. Do not use an exten sion cord.

6 Install Anti-Tip Brack et 1. Remove the anti-tip bracket that is taped inside the upper oven with the package cont aining literature. 2. Determine which mounting method to use: floor or wall. If you have a stone or masonry f loor , you can use the wall mounting method.
7 Electrical Connection - U.S.A. Only Power Supply Cord Di rec t Wi re 1. Disconnect pow er . 2. Use Phillips screwdriver to r e move the terminal block cover screw located on the back of th e range. Pull cover down and toward you to r emove cover . 3.
8 Style 2: Direct wir e strain relief ■ Use Phillips screwdriver to r emove screws and slide cord/conduit plate down and out. ■ Position cord/condu it plate as shown in the following illustration . ■ Replace cord/conduit pl ate and insert scr ews.
9 4-wire connectio n: Power Supply Cord Use this method for: ■ New branch-cir cuit installations (1996 N EC) ■ Mobile homes ■ Recreational veh icles ■ In an area where local codes pr ohibit grounding thr ough t he neutral 1. Part of metal ground strap must be cut out and r emoved.
10 2. Use ³⁄₈ " nut driver to connect the neutral (white) wire to the center terminal block post with one of th e 10-32 hex nuts. 3. Connect line 1 (black) and line 2 (red) wir es to the outer terminal block posts with 10-32 hex nuts. 4. Securely tighten hex nu ts.
11 4. Attach terminal lugs to line 1 (bla ck), neutral (white), and line 2 (red) wires. Loosen (do not r emove ) the setscr ew on the front of the terminal lug and insert expose d wire end through bottom of terminal lugs. Secu rely tighten set screw to XX lbs-in.
12 Bare Wir e T orque Specifications Attaching termin al lugs to the terminal block - 20 lbs-in. (2.3 N-m) 3. Use ³⁄₈ " nut driver to con nect the bare (g reen) gr ound wire to the center terminal block post with one o f the 10-32 hex nuts. 4.
13 Complete Installation 1. Check that all parts ar e now instal led. If ther e is an extra part, go back throug h the steps to see which step was skipped. 2. Check that you have all of your tools. 3. Dispose of/r ecycle all packaging mate rials. 4. Check that th e range is level.

20 Installation de la bride antibasculement 1. Retirer la bride antiba sculement fixée dans le four supérieur par du ruban adhésif avec le sa chet de docu mentation. 2. Déterminer la méthode de montage à utiliser : au plancher ou au mur . Pour un plancher en pierre ou en briquetage, on peut utiliser la méthode de montage au mur .
21 3. Si l'arrière de la cuisi nière se soulève de plus de ½" (1,3 cm) du plancher sans opposer de rési stance, cesser d'incline r la cuisinièr e et la reposer doucement sur le pla ncher . Le pied de la cuisinièr e n'est pas engagé da ns la bride antibasculement.
22 Ache ver l’installation 1. Vérifier que toutes les pièces son t maintenant installées. S’il reste une pièce , passer en revue les différ entes étapes pour découvrir laquelle aurait été oubliée. 2. Vérifier la présence de tous les ou tils.
