3 INST ALLA TION REQUIREMENTS T ools and P ar ts Gather the req uired tools and part s befor e starting installation. Read and follow the instructions provided with any tools list ed here. T ools needed Parts supplied Check that all parts are included.

5 Electr ical Requirements - U .S.A. Only If codes permit and a separate ground wir e is used, it is recomm ended that a qualified elec trical installer determine that the ground path and wire gauge are in accordance with local codes. Do not use an extension cord.
6 INSTALLATION INSTR UCTIONS Unpack Range 1. Remove shipping materials, tape and film fr om range. 2. Remove oven racks and parts package from in side oven. 3. Do not remove the shipping base at this time. 4. On Ranges Equipped with a Storage Drawer: Remove the storage drawer .
7 Floor Mounti ng W all Mounting 5. Using the Phillips screwdriver , mount anti-tip bracket to the wall or floor with the two #12 x 1 ⁵⁄₈ " screws provided. 6. Move range close enough to opening to allow for final electrical connec tions. Remove shipping base, cardboar d or hardboar d from under range.
8 Electr ical Connection - U .S.A. Only 1. Disconnect power . 2. Remove the te rminal block cove r screws located on the bac k of the range. Pull cover down and towar d you to remove cover from range. 3. Remove plastic tag holding three 10-32 hex nuts from the middle post of the terminal block .
9 Style 2: Direct wir e strain relief ■ Remove the knockout as ne eded for the flexible conduit connection. ■ Assemble a UL listed conduit connector in the openi ng.
10 4. Use a Phillips screwdriver to connect the gr een ground wire from the power supply cord to the range with the ground-link screw and ground-link section. The ground wir e must be attached first. 5. Use ³⁄₈ " nut driver to connect the neutral (white) wire to the center terminal block post with one of the 10–32 hex nuts.
11 1. Part of metal ground strap must be cut out and r emoved. 2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the gr ound-link screw from the back of the range. Save the ground-link scr ew and the end of the ground link under the screw . 3. Pull the wires thr ough the strain relief on bottom of range.
12 2. Attach terminal lugs to line 2 (red), bar e (green) gro und, and line 1 (black) wires. Loosen (do not remove) the setscrew on the front of the terminal lug and insert exposed wir e end through bottom of terminal lugs. 13 6. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to ensur e that the range foot is engaged in the anti-t ip bracket. If the rear of the range lifts more than ½" (1.3 cm) off the floor without resistance, the a nti-tip bracket may not be installed correctly . Do not operate the range without anti-tip bracket installed and engaged.
14 Storage Draw er (on some models) The storage drawer can be removed. Before removing, make sure drawer is cool and empty . To R e m o v e : 1. Pull the storage drawer straig ht back to the drawer stop. 2. Lift up the fr ont of the dra wer and pull the drawer out.
15 Mo ving the Range When moving range, slide range onto cardb oard or hardboar d to avoid damaging the floor covering. If removing the range is necessary for cleaning or maintenanc e: For power supply cor d-connected ranges: 1. Slide range forward. 2.
