Home canning information • Use flat-bottomed canners on all types of cooktops, especially ceramic glass. Canners with rippled or ridged bottoms do not allow good contact with the surface. • Center the canner over the largest coil element. Do not extend more than one inch outside the coil element.

13 Cleaning the area under the cooktop 1. Remove all elements and reflector bowls. 2. Place hands under left and right r ear element opening areas and lift (approx. 3 ⁄ 8 ”). When you hear a click, the Posi-lock button is correctly engaged. 3. T o open, grip the left and right front element openings and lift.
