Care should be taken not to rub, damage, or move the gasket. ■ Do Not Use Oven Cleaners – No commercial oven cleaner or oven liner protective coating of any kind should be used in or around any part of the oven.

6 ELECTRONIC OVEN CONTROL Display When power is first sup plied to the appliance, everythi ng on the displ ays wi ll ligh t up f or 5 sec onds. Then, “PF” wi ll ap pear on the oven disp lay and a time of d ay will appear on t he Time of Day displa y .
7 To n e V o l u m e The volume is preset a t high, but can be c hanged to low . T o Change: P res s and h old th e numbe r pad 7 for 5 s econds. A tone will sound and “Snd L o” will appear on the oven disp lay for 3 seco nds. If “Snd Lo” rema ins on th e disp lay , press CA NCEL OFF to remove.
8 OVEN USE Odors and smoke are normal when the oven is u sed the first few times, or when it is heavi ly soile d. During oven use, the heat ing elements will not remain on, but will cycle on and off throughout oven operatio n. If the range is i nstalled on a 208-vol t circuit, the ove n preheat time will be lo nger .
9 Oven V ent The oven vent sh ould not be blocked or cover ed because it allows the rele ase of hot air an d moisture from the oven. Blockin g or covering th e oven vent w ill cause p oor air circulation, affecti ng cooking and clean ing results. Never se t plastics , paper or other items that cou ld melt or bur n near the oven vent.
10 Number pads 1 th rough 0 represent temperatures. Us e the following chart as a guid e . * The number pads must be pressed for at least 1 second . **Whe n usin g the number pad 6 , make sure tha t it is pre ssed for only 1 second be cause it can also t urn off the Sabbat h Mode.
11 3. Press ST ART . The set oven temp erature will appear on the oven di splay unti l the ov en is turned of f. 4. Press CANCEL OFF w hen finished cooking. BROILING CHART For best res ults, place food 3 in. (7 cm) or mor e from the broil elements. For di agram, see the “Pos itioning Racks and Bakeware” se ction.
12 If the oven door is open ed during convection baking or preheating, th e broil and T .H. E.™ convection element and fan will turn off immediately . They will come back on once t he door is closed. ■ Reduce recipe temperat ure 25°F (14°C). The cook time may need to be reduced also.
13 Convection Broil During convect ion broiling, the b roil elements wil l cycle on and off in interv als to ma intain ove n temperat ure, while the fa n constant ly circulates the ho t air . The temperature is preset at 450°F (232°C), bu t can be change d to a different temperature.
14 3. Press ST ART . The star t ti me, s top time, vert ical bar cou ntdo wn a nd min ute time countdown wil l appear on the oven d isplay . The stop time will not appear if no t set in the ch angeable cycl e. When the cycle end s, “End” will appear in the oven display .
15 To D e h y d r a t e : Before dehydrati ng, prepar e food as recommended in the recipe and arrange on dehydra tion rack(s). Position racks according to the f ollowin g ch art. Se e “Pos itioni ng Rack s and Bake ware ” section for diagram of rack positions.
16 “Lo” will appear as t he probe temperature until th e inter nal temperatu r e of the food reaches 130°F (5 4°C). Then the displa y will show t he temperatu re increasing in 5°F (3°C) increments. When the set probe temperatu re is reached, the ove n will shut off automatically and “End” will appear on the oven displa y .
17 ■ Remove oven racks t o keep them shin y and easy to sl ide. See “Genera l Cleaning” secti on for more information. ■ Hand clean in side door edge and the 1½ in. (3 .8 cm) area around the inside ov en cavity frame, being careful not t o move or bend the gasket.
18 BROILER P AN AN D GRID Do not clean in the Self-Cl eaning cycle (on some models). ■ Mildly abrasive clean ser: Scrub wi th wet scourin g pad. ■ Solution of ¹₂ cup ( 125 mL) ammonia t o 1 gal. ( 3.75 L) wa ter: Soak for 20 minutes, th en scr ub with s couring or s teel-wool pad.
19 Oven tempe rature too high or t oo low ■ Does the oven temperature calibration need adjustment? See “Oven T emperat ure Control” section. Display shows message s ■ Is the display showin g “ PF ” , “ PF id=27 ” or “ PF id=30 ” ? There has been a power fail ure.
