7 Demo Mode The Demo Mode is id eal for lear ning how to use the microwave oven. When set, fu ncti ons can b e entered wit hout act ually t ur ning on the magnetron . The microwave oven l ight will come on, the fan w ill run , and th e turnta ble will r otate.
8 Cooking Guidelin es Covering Covering food helps r etain moistur e, shorten cook t ime and reduce spatteri ng. Use th e lid su pplied w ith cookware. If a li d is not availab le, wax pap er , paper towels or pl astic w rap approved for microwave ovens may be used.
9 Aluminum Foil and Metal Always use ov en mi tts o r po t hol der s when remov ing d ishe s from the microwave oven. Aluminum foi l and some meta l can be used in the microwave oven. If not u sed properly , arcing (a bl ue flash of light) can occur and cause damage to the mic rowave oven.
10 Cook T ime Set Cook time may be set in the foll owing increments, in mi nutes and second s: To U s e : 1. T ouch COOK TIME, then turn the dial to desir ed cook time or touch COOK TIME repeatedly to increase cook time. See chart for time increments.
11 Meal Pr ep Re heat Times and cooking pow er have been preset for reheating speci fic food types. Use the following chart as a guide. * For smaller rolls, 2 rolls may be counted as 1 piece. T o Use the Rehe at Contro l: 1. T ouch REH EA T . The display will show “1” for t he first food type.
12 One T ouch Sensor Cooking A sensor in th e microwave oven de tects humidit y released from the food and automatically sets a cooking time based on the selected pad. Use the following chart as a guide for the ONE TOUCH pads. * Do not use regular paper bags or gl assware.
