However, every year accide nts occur which could have been avoided by a few seconds of th ought and a more careful a pproach to han dling equipment.
XB - R O T A R Y T I L L E R A S S E M B L Y I N S T R U C T I O N S STEP 1 Wi th rotary tiller still in crate, lay flat on a level surface. Cut banding straps on the two (2) upright cr ate posts. STEP 2 Remov e the top & upper side sections of the crate, le aving the rota ry tiller resting on the bottom section.

NOTE: Be sur e to pull on PT O shaft section to ensure yoke has locked into place. S T E P 5 Place and hold inn er PT O shaft s ection next to outer section and c heck if PT O shaft is too long.

Never travel at a fast ground speed while usin g the till er , this could dam age it. Never attempt to turn the tracto r or trav el in reverse with the PT O engag ed and the tiller in the ground . A lw ays raise the tille r out of th e ground w hen backing up or attempting to turn.
MA INTENANCE SA FETY Good maintenance is your responsibility . Poor maintena nce is an invita- tion to trouble . Follow good shop practices. Keep serv ice area clean and dry Be sure electrical outlets and tools are properly grounded Use adequate ligh t for the job at hand.
