I NS T A L L AT I O N : 1. Install the PSU into either the top or botto m of your case with th e four screws provided. Refer to your case manual if you are u nsure where the p ower supply sho uld be installed. 2. Connect the 24-pin main power connecto r to your motherboard.
4. Connect extra cable s fro m the cable pack to th e sock ets o n the power supply only if needed. If y ou are going to plug the PCI-E cab les into the PSU, they should go into the red socket s. If the red sockets are not b eing used for PCI-E, then they can be used for an y other type o f cable supplied in the pack t hat accompanies the PS U.
7. Hard drives, optical drives (CD/DVD/BluRay™) and other accessories will use either the older 4 -pin Mole x connector or the newer 15 -pin SATA conn ector. 4-pin Mol ex connectors have two black , one yellow and one red wi re . The SATA con nector h as an addition al orange power wire.
