9 2.1 S ETTING U P Put the ca se upright on a flat, stable surface so that the rear panel (power su pply and expansio n slots) is fac ing you. To remove the left a nd right sid e panels, remove these .
10 Now rest your c ase with the left side up. He re’s what we’ll be worki ng with first: A – Po wer supply mounts B – 5 .25” drive b ay area C – 3.5 ” drive b ay area D – Fro nt panel wiring E – I/O panel Note: Do not use your fingernails to pry or lift the panels.
11 2.2 M OTHERBOARD I NSTALLATION Before proce eding: - Check the ma nual for y our CPU cooler to find out if ther e are steps you must d o before in stalling the motherboard - Make sure you have the corre ct I/O panel for y our mother board.
12 3. Now re move y our motherb oard by lifting it up. Lift your mo therboa rd ou t to install the stan doffs. 4. Install standoffs as ne eded and put the m otherboar d back in. 5. Sc rew in your motherboard to the standoff s with the provided Phillips-hea d scre ws.
13 Note: The DF-10 comes with a CPU cutou t on the motherboa rd tray, whic h will allow you to ch ange yo ur CPU heatsink without rem oving the motherb oard. 2.3 S TANDARD ATX P OWER S UPPLY I NSTALLATION The DF-10 c an accommod ate a standa rd-size ATX power su pply.
14 Use these scre ws to secure you r power sup ply to the case. 2.4 C ABLE M ANAGEMENT There is a cable manage ment compart ment behind the 3.5” d rive c age. You can tu ck or route excess c ables in this compartme nt. 1. Loc ate the ca ble manageme nt compart ment with c able ties loc ated behind the wall s of the 3.
15 2.5 I NTERNAL 3.5” D EVICE I NSTALLATION The portion of the bezel covering the i nternal 3.5” d rive bays c an be re moved. 1. With the left side of the case facing you, pu sh on the ta bs near the front be hind the be zel away from you to rele ase the bezel (se e pictu re).
16 2.6 E XTERNAL 3.5” D EVICE I NSTALLATION There is one e xternal 3.5” d rive bay unde r the 5.25” d rive bays. Remove this drive b ay cov er. 1. Ca refully remove the 3.5” d rive bay cover fr om the bezel. Loa d the d rives from the front, lini ng them up to the fr ont of the dr ive ca ge.

24 4.4 O PTIONAL F ANS There is one o ptional 120 m m fan m ount on the left side pane l. A fan can be place d here to enhance gra phics card cooling. There is als o space to mount two fans in the be zel in front of the 3 .5” internal drive bay s for hard drive c ooling.
