4. Connect the 8-pin or 4-pin connector for the CPU. If yo ur motherboa rd ha s an 8-pin socket with a cover on some of the o penings, we recomm end th at you remove the cover an d use the 8 -pin conn ector. Note: Plea se also refer to your mo therboard user’s manu al for any special instructio ns.
