P/N 60-201142-000 Rev A 10/09 B150 Series Commercial Brewer Direct Plumb Kit Welcome Keurig Authorized Dea ler! This manual provides: • Installation of the Direct Plumb Kit (DPK) that al lows you to connect your customer’s B150 brewer to municipal or independently pum ped water supply.
2 B150 Direct Plumb Unit Installation Instructions The B150 brewer is designed to be easily tr ansformed from the as-purchased, Pour Over configuration to a plumbed unit. Reconfigur ation is designed to be easily and quickly accomplished by a technician using o nly a #2 Phillips screw driver.
3 5. On the side of the brewer locate the Connector Cover. Remove and reserve the screw. Remove the Connector Cover and expose DPK Interface Connector. FIGURES 5 & 6 FIGURE 5 FIGURE 6 6. Make the electrical connection between the DPK CWT and the brewer body.
4 Filter Requirements The Keurig B150 brewer system, when used with Direct P lumb accessory, requires the use of a water filtration system to optimize the coffee flavor and brewer reliability. Two mounting holes with screws have been provided on the back of the brewer for this purpose.
5 Descaling Instru ctions for B150 Brewer wi th DPK Minerals in drinking water build up on hot surfaces and can build to a point where fluid flow is reduced and other normal brewer func tions are hindered. W h en this occurs, the brewer must be cleared of these depo sits to allow norm al brewer function.
6 5. After removal of Top Plate, th e Descaling Solution Access Port in the Water Reservoir will be clear ly evident as shown below. 6. Reconnect the brewer to AC Power Supply. 7. Proceed with descaling pro cedure as defined below: De-Scaling Procedure Preparation: Prepare at least 40 ounces of a commercia l citric acid descal e solution.
7 4. At the end of the 40 minutes, lower th e handle and the brewer should complete the brew (do not be concerned if the brew er does not complete the brew).
8 Draining Procedure for Ho t Water Tank and DPK CWT This procedure is to be pe rformed prior to transportati on of unit and when converting brewer between Pour Over usage and Direct Plumb usage. NOTICE THIS PROCEDURE MAY RESU LT IN THE RELEAS E OF WATER AT TEMPERATURES HOT ENOUGH TO RESULT IN BURNS.

Maintenance Mode Layout Entry: From STANDBY, press all 4 corners of the touchscreen (U pper Left/Right and Lower Left/Right in any order) within 3 seconds, – releasing after each touch 1.
