2 INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing a KENYON Alcohol/Electric com bination stov e. The operation instructions that follow are for the models 213 (single burn er) and 436 (double burner) alcohol/electri c combination stoves. These units feature counter-top mounting, se lf-priming / se lf pressurized alcohol burners.

5 Remove the back cover on the stove; push the cable through 7/8” (22 mm) hole below the terminal board, using the black plasti c grommet to protect the su pply cable.
6 • DO NOT TOUCH HEATI NG ELEMENTS - Heating element areas may be hot even thoug h they are dark in color. These areas may be hot enough to caus e burns. During and after use, do not touch, or let clothing or other flammable materials contac t heating element areas until heating elements have had sufficient time to cool.
7 ALCOHOL BURNER OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Before attempting to operate the stove, please read the theory and operating instructions carefully and become thoroughly familiar with the various parts of the stove and how they ope rate.
8 Operating Components A Fill Cap is located on each burne r with a rubber washe r (gasket) underneath each fill ca p. Be sure the washer is in place and the fill cap is rea sonably tight when operating the stove. If either are lost or damaged replace at once.

10 To disengage lid from the lock position, fully extend (rotate lid back) lid back and gently lift “lid-stay” up as shown to disengage from the lock position. Once the “lid-stay” is in the unlock position, the lid can be lowered to the close position.
