b efore using your Kenwood appliance/attachments ● Read these instructions carefully and r etain for future reference. ● R emove all packaging and any labels. ● W ash the parts: see ‘care and cleaning’. ● Push excess cord in the cor d storage compartment in the back of the a ppliance.
h ints ● Switch off and scrape the bowl with a spatula when necessary . ● E ggs at room temperatur e are best for whisking. ● B efore whisking egg whites, make sur e there’ s no grease or egg yolk on the whisk or bowl. ● U se cold ingredients for pastry unless your r ecipe states otherwise.
Blenders A T282 and A T283 (if supplied) Use the blender for soups, drinks, pâtés, mayonnaise, breadcrumbs, biscuit c rumbs, chopping nuts and crushing ice. safety ● L iquids should be allowed to cool to room temperatur e before blending. ● D on’t touch the sharp blades.
Mill A T286 (if supplied) Use the mill for milling herbs, nuts and coffee beans. safety ● Don’t touch the sharp blades. Keep the blade unit away from children. ● O nly use the jar and the blade unit with the base supplied. ● N ever blend hot liquids in the mill.
8 Switch on and process until the desired consistency is achieved. We recommend a high speed for most chopping functions. ● U se the pulse for short burst of power . The pulse will operate for as long a s the switch is held in position. 9 Switch off and unplug.
Centrifugal Juicer A T285 (if supplied) Use the centrifugal juicer for extracting juice from fruit and vegetables. safety ● Do not use the juicer if the filter is damaged. ● T he cutting blades on the base of the filter are very sharp, take care when h andling and cleaning the filter .
Multi food grinder A T281 (if supplied) Use the multi food grinder to process raw and cooked meat; fish and nuts. safety ● Always ensure bones and rind etc are removed from the meat before m incing. ● W hen mincing nuts only feed a few down at a time and allow the scroll to pick them up before adding any more.
