3 D-R350 (En) Unpacking Unpack the unit carefully and make sure that all accessories are put aside so they will not be lost. Examine the unit for any possibility of shipping damage. If your unit is damaged or fails to operate, notify your dealer immediately .
D-R350 (En) 4 System connections Caution: Do not plug in the power lead until all connections are com- pleted. Malfunction of microcomputer If operation is not possible or erroneous display appears even though all connections have been made properly , reset the microcomputer referring to “In case of difficulty”.
5 D-R350 (En) Connection to a general-use amplifier Use the provided audio cords to connect the OUTPUT jacks of this unit to the CD input jacks (or AUX jacks) of the amplifier . Connection to digital amplifier or MD Connect the DIGIT AL OUTPUT (OPTICAL or COAXIAL) jack to the digital input jack of the amplifier , DA T recorder , MD recorder , etc.

D-R350 (En) 16 Programmed play (PGM mode) Use the following procedure to program desired tracks in a desired order. (Up to 32 tracks) ÷ Load a disc in the CD player. ÷ Set the INPUT SELECTOR to ”CD“ on the connected device such as AV CONTROL CENTER or receiver.
17 D-R350 (En) T o check or change the programmed tracks ÷ Press it while the “PGM 01” indicator blinks. ÷ The track being played cannot be changed. ÷ Perform only step 1 to simply check the program. ÷ In the case of a CD-TEXT disc, the track’s title is scrolled on the display.
D-R350 (En) 18 Repeated playback T o repeat only the programmed tracks Preparation ÷ Load a disc in the CD player. ÷ Set the INPUT SELECTOR to ”CD“ on the connected device such as AV CONTROL CENTER or receiver. Repeat Return ENTER ENTER T o cancel repeated playback Press the REPEA T key twice.
19 D-R350 (En) T o repeat the entire disc Repeated playback Repeat Return ENTER ENTER T o cancel repeated playback Press the REPEA T key twice. (REPEA T ON → OFF) GRC operation This allows repeated playback of all the tracks on the disc loaded in the disc tray.
D-R350 (En) 20 The following procedure allows to record a CD within the specified tape length so that no music is interrupted in the middle at the ends of sides A and B. Editing 1 Light the “EDIT” indicator. Preparation ÷ Load a disc in the CD player.
21 D-R350 (En) The CD contents are edited as follows. (1) The tape recording time input is divided by two, and tracks that can be accommodated in file A (which refers to tracks on tape side A ) are selected in order of their track Nos.
D-R350 (En) 22 Playback in a random order (Random playback) ÷ Pressing the 4 key once returns to the beginning of the track being played. ÷ Press the RANDOM key to start normal playback. ™ As tracks are selected at random, you can enjoy listening to for a long time.

D-R350 (En) 24 Caution on disc used Cleaning If fingerprints or foreign matter become attached to the disc, lightly wipe the disc with a soft cotton cloth (or similar) from the center of the disc outwards in a radial manner . Storage When a disc is not to be played for a long period of time, remove it from the CD player and store it in its case.
