2 ecoRoute ™ Instruction Manual Calibrate the Fuel Economy Calibrate the fuel economy to receive more-accurate fuel reports for your speci fi c vehicle and driving habits. Calibrate when you fi ll up your fuel tank. 1. Calculate your miles per gallon or liters per 100 kilometers.
ecoRoute ™ Instruction Manual 3 Deceleration score —gain points for gradual braking; lose points for hard braking. Speed score —gain points for driving at the best speed for conserving fuel, which is 45–60 mph (72–97 km/h) for most vehicles.

A mileage report is created for every route that you drive. If you stop a route on your Kenwood unit, a mileage report is created for the distance you traveled.
