5 TIPS AND WARNINGS : For the best results and maximum pl ate life, use only utensils that are recommended for electric plates, i.e. utens il s that have a reinforced, perfectly flat bottom. The utensils must also be the same dia m eter, or slightly wider than the plate used.
6 MAINTENANCE ANY ADJUSTMENT , MAINTENANCE, ETC. MU ST BE CARRIED OUT WITH THE HOB UNPLUGGED AT T HE MAINS. To extend the life of the hob, it has to be cleaned periodically. Follow these instructions: - Electric plates To clean a plate, heat it up for a few moment s so as to burn any products that may have been left during manufacture.

8 To connect the electrics, follow the instruc tions: - Turn the hob upside down; - Unscrew the 4 bolts that fa sten the casing to the electric plates; - Open the casing, paying attention to the wires.
