WORK AREA Keep your work area clean and well lit. Cluttered work benches and dark work areas may cause accidents or injur y . Do not operate power tools in explosive areas, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
When batter y pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects like: paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another . Shorting the batter y termi- nals together may cause sparks, burns or a fire.

CHARGING BA TTERY P ACK CHARGE BA TTERY P ACK: 1. Plug the charger into the nearest 120 volt electrical outlet. 2. Make sure the trigger on the Cordless Reciprocating Saw is in the “OFF” position and remove the batter y pack from the Cordless Reciprocating Saw.
OPERA TING THE RECIPROCA TING SAW Be awa re tha t t his tool is alw ays in an op era tin g cond ition because it does not have to be plugged into an electrical outlet. Always turn the switch “OFF” and remove the batter y pack before changing blades.
PLUNGE CUTTING Never feed the blade into the work piece until the blade is at full speed. If the blade is not at full speed, the saw may kick back causing serious personal injur y . • Mark out the line to be cut so it is easily visible. • Start inside the area to be cut out.
ACCESSORIES Use only accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer for your model. Accessories that may be suitable for one tool may become hazardous when used on another tool. Always attach grounded (3-prong) extension cords to grounded (3-hole) outlets.

THE CONTROL RING ADJUSTS THE LEVEL OF TORQUE: • For light duty work, use lower settings. • For heavy duty work, use higher settings. PROPER SETTING FOR DRIVING SCREWS: 1. Set the ring on the lowest setting to begin. 2. T ry tightening the first screw.
• Never tr y to start a stalled Drill by clicking the trigger switch “ON” and “OFF” . This may damage your tool. • T o reduce jamming, always keep the Drill running when pulling the bit out of a finished hole. SCREWDRIVING: • Always use the correct type and size of screwdriver bit.
