JIGSA W OPERA TION ADJUSTING SPEED The operating speed of the jigsaw can be varied by using the Speed Control Switch located on the top of the jigsaw . T urn the speed control from 0 to 6 to set the speed. On most cuts, such as wood and metal, the faster speed works best.
Do not force the jigsaw into the workpiece. This could cause the blade teeth to wear down with-out cutting or even cause the blade to break causing damage to the jigsaw or injur y to the operator . Let the saw reach full speed before engaging the workpiece.
