2 IMPOR T ANT PRECA UTIONS – Read First! Saf ety W arnings When using this product, basic precau- tions should alwa ys be f ollowed: • Read all the instructions bef ore using the product. • High pressure jets can be dangerous if subject to misuse.
3 W ater Supply (Cold W ater Only) • W ater hose must be at least 3/4 inch in diameter . • Flow r ate of water supply must not f all below 2.5 GPM (gallons per minute). • Flow r ate can be determined by running the water f or one minute into an empty 5-gallon container .
OPERA TING INSTR UCTIONS 4 Step 1 Connect the high pressure hose to the unit’ s high pressure outlet. Step 2 Inser t the spray w and of your choice into the spra y wand extension. Push in and tur n clockwise to lock spra y wand in place. Step 3 Connect garden hose to unit’ s water inlet.
USING THE A CCESSORIES 5 GFCI INSTR UCTIONS Step 1 Plug the Ground F ault Circuit Interr upter (GFCI) into a working outlet. Step 2 Press “TEST”, then press “RESET” to assure proper connection to power . Note: The actual appearance of the GFCI ma y be diff erent from this illustration.
6 WORKING WITH DETERGENT Karcher Pressure washers operate at tw o pressures. The high pressure setting is used f or cleaning, you cannot apply detergents when working at high pressure.
SHUTTING DO WN & CLEAN-UP 7 WINTERIZING AND LONG-TERM ST ORAGE 1. Disconnect all water connections. 2. Star t the machine for a f ew seconds, until the water which had remained in the pump exits . T ur n off immediately . 3. Do not allow high pressure hose to become kinked.
8 CLEANING TIPS Deck Cleaning (with or without detergent) Pre-rinse deck and surrounding area with fresh water . If using Kärcher Deck W ash, place detergent suction tube directly into cleaning solution and apply to surface at lo w pressure. For best results , limit your w ork area to smaller sections of approximately 25 square feet.

If using Kärcher All Purpose Cleaner or Degreaser , place detergent suction tube directly into cleaning solution and apply detergent at low pressure.
10 TROUBLESHOO TING Disconnect the machine from the power source bef ore making any repair . Symptom Cause Solution Motor will not star t. Unit does not reach high pressure. Output pressure varies high and low . Extension cord is too long. Extension cord is not proper gauge.
