4 Step 5 Slide the throttle contr ol to the fast position. Step 7 Pull the starter handle. If the engine fails to start after 3 pulls squeeze the trigger gun to release pr essure, and repeat step 7. OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS Step 1 Connect the high pressur e hose to the unit ’ s high pressur e outlet.
5 USING THE ACCESSORIES The V ario spray wand allows you to adjust the cleaning pressure. T o clean at maximum pres- sure, the V ario wand must be positioned to the high pressur e setting (+). T o apply detergent, the wand must be positioned to the low pressur e setting (-).
CLEANING TIPS 8 7 SHUTTING DOWN & CLEAN-UP Step 1 Remove detergent suction tube from container and insert into one gallon of fresh water . Siphon water at low pressur e for one minute. Step 2 T urn off the engine. Step 3 T urn off the water source.
TROUBLE SHOOTING Symptom Cause Solution Engine will not start Unit does not reach high pressur e. Output pressur e varies high and low . No gasoline. Fill gas tank. Low oil level. Add oil. Engine throttle is not in correct position. Position the throttle to “F AST” .
11 TROUBLE SHOOTING - continued Symptom Cause Solution No detergent. Garden hose connection leaks. Spray wand leaks. Pump is noisy . W ater leaks from pump (up to 10 drops per minute is permissible). Oil Drip. Detergent is too thick. Dilute detergent, for best results use K ä rcher detergent.
