2 IMPOR T ANT PRECA UTIONS – Read First! Saf ety W ar nings When using this product, basic precau- tions should alwa ys be followed: • Read all the instr uctions before using the product. • Fire hazard! Do not add fuel with the engine running. Do not operate if fuel has been spilled.
3 ASSEMBL Y INSTR UCTIONS Step 1 Attach the handle to the frame of the pressure washer . Align holes, insert bolts, and tighten with knobs. Step 2 Attach the gun/hose storage handle. Step 3 Attach the wand to the spra y gun. Step 4 Attach the triple jet nozzle.
OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS 4 Step 1 Check oil le vel. Oil lev el should be lev el with the bottom of the oil filler neck. Be sure the machine is lev el when checking the oil le vel. (Refer to the engine’ s operating manual for seasonal g rades.) We recommend that the oil be changed after the first 5 hours of use, then once e ver y 50 hours.
5 This nozzle features a 0º pencil jet which rotates 360º f or maximum dir t cutting action, effectiv ely increasing cleaning performance up to 50%. This nozzle combines the cleaning performance of a 0º pencil jet with the surf ace cov erage of a wide angle nozzle.
6 WORKING WITH DETERGENTS NO TE: Detergents can only be applied in the “CHEM” setting. Step 1 Use triple jet nozzel (set to CHEM. position) to apply detergents Step 4 With the engine running, pull trigger to operate unit. Liquid detergent is drawn into the unit and mix ed with water .
Step 2 Press the throttle down to stop the engine. If the engine has a fuel valv e or swich turn off Step 3 Tu r n off water supply . SHUTTING DO WN & CLEAN-UP 7 WINTERIZING AND LONG-TERM ST ORAGE 1. Disconnect all water connections. 2. T ur n on the machine for a f ew seconds, until the remaining water e xits.
8 CLEANING TIPS Deck Cleaning (with or without detergent) Pre-rinse deck and surrounding area with fresh water . If using Kärcher Deck Wash, place detergent suction tube directly into cleaning solution and apply to surface at lo w pressure. For best results, limit y our work area to smaller sections of approximately 25 square feet.
