English 5 WARNING Do not check for spark wi th the spark plug removed. Do not touch the high-voltage cord or spark plug cap. Do not stop the machine by using the choke lever. Do not unreason ably adjust the engin e speed. Do not place hands or feet near moving or rotating parts.
6 English Î STEP 1: Attach the handle to the frame of the pressure washer. Align holes, i nsert bolts, and tighten with knobs. Î STEP 2: Mount the gun/hose storage han ger. Î STEP 3: Attach the high pressure hose to the spray gun. Î STEP 4: Attach the wand to the spray gun.
English 7 CAUTION Too much oil ca n cause the engine to o ver- heat. Signs include but are not limite d to the following: a decrease in engine perfo r- mance, oil leaking from the governor arm, an oil seal, or the air filter.
8 English Î STEP 9: Push the engine switch to the ON posi- tion. Î STEP 10: Open fuel valve. Î STEP 11: Set CHOKE lever to the CHOKE posi- tion. Î STEP 12: Pull the starter handle. If the engine fails to start after 3 pulls, squeeze the trigger gun to release pres- sure, and repeat step.
English 9 This nozzle features four positions. The high setting (+) provides a steady powe rful high pressure spray pattern, for general cleaning. The low se tting (-) creates a low presure spr ay pattern. Note: Detergent is applied with the nozzl e set at low pressure.

English 11 All Kärcher pumps ship with oil already in- side direct from the factory. There is no need to add oil. You should routinely make a visual inspec- tion of the pressure washer’s pump. If you notice oil leaking around the pump seal s, you should take the pressure washer to a Kärcher-Authorized Service Center for re- pair.
