9 Lift the basket upw ards to remo ve. Place the f ood on a heat resistant plate or tray lined with kitchen paper to absorb any excess oil. If continuing to cook, allow the unit to reheat until the green ‘READY’ light illuminates. Allow the deep fryer to fully cool bef ore emptying the oil or cleaning the unit.
10 Alw ays add the required amount of oil BEFORE switching the pow er on at the pow er outlet. An A uto Cut-Out safety switch will be activ ated if the unit is turned on without oil in the bowl.
11 Food should be crisp w hen deep fried. If results are soggy , it’s because the oil isn’t hot enough.
