7 Operating Instr uctions Befor e First Use Remo ve an y promotional m aterial from the v acuum cleaner . When unpacking the v acuum cleaner check to see y ou hav e received all the required components, such as the hose and other accessories before discarding the packaging.
8 V aria ble P o w er Control The pow er booster le ver on the v acuum can be used f or v aria ble pow er contr ol. Slide the lever to w ard the MAX marking f or v acuuming hard floor and carpet surfaces. Slide the lev er to war d the MIN marking when using the crevice, upholstery and brush tools .
9 Check all filters and replace them regularly . It is recommended to clean the filters after every use. For normal household v acuuming the filters should be replaced at least twice a year . If y ou encounter reduced v acuum cleaner perf ormance, check: • Dust ca pacity in dust container • All filter s, including dust, motor and exhaust.
10 Cleaning and Replacing Filters T o assist you with the r egular care of y our v acuum, a second HEP A filter is supplied f or con venient use, ideal f or when a dir ty filter is being cleaned. Dirty and clogged filter s may result in reduced suction perf ormance.

12 Shake and tap the cone until all the fine dust particles are remo ved. The cone can also be hand w ashed. Allow the cone to completely air dr y bef ore re- assembling.
