9 Connecting the speaker system to the amplifier Before connecting— • T ur n off the pow er to the amplifier before connecting the speak er system; otherwise, the speakers ma y be damaged. • The impedance of each speaker is 8 Ω . Bef ore connecting them to your amplifier , check the speaker impedance r ange of your amplifier .
10 Make sure to match the polarity ( ª and · ); otherwise, the sound will lose the surround eff ect. After connecting, check that the e xposed cores are fully inser ted into the terminal.
