Play bac k your trial recording to make sure the video and audio hav e been recorded properly . • We recommend cleaning y our video heads before use. EN 3 ENGLISH Safety Precautions When the equipment is installed in a cabinet or on a shelf, mak e sure that it has sufficient space on all sides to allow f or ventilation (10 cm (3-15/16") or more on both sides, on top and at the rear). Do not bloc k the ventilation holes.

EN 29 Editing ENGLISH Dubbing T o Or From A Video Unit Equipped With A DV Connector (Digital Dubbing) It is also possible to cop y recorded scenes from the camcorder onto another video unit equipped with a D V connector . Since a digital signal is sent, there is little, if any , image or sound deterioration.
30 EN Editing Connection T o A Personal Computer When connecting the camcorder to a PC using a D V cable, mak e sure to follo w the procedure below . Connecting the cable incorrectly may cause malfunctions to the camcorder and/or the PC. • Connect the D V cable fi rst to the PC, and then to the camcorder .
